£11m “full-throttle” Mega Bowl to open in Slough next month

The company behind Airport Bowl in Harlington has announced it will open its new 55,000 sq ft leisure complex Mega Bowl in Slough next month.

The three-storey site will feature “one of the most diverse entertainment line-ups in the UK,” including 130 arcade machines, 10 bowling lanes, VR experiences and karaoke.

And it’s been very well received by media. “Spanning three floors and two mezzanines, Mega City brings together a full-throttle mix of games, immersive tech, competitive socialising, food and drink,” reported the London Post. “It’s a place where guests can bowl, sing, shoot, race, compete, eat, drink and repeat, without ever having to leave the building.”

“Because everything lives under one roof, groups can split up, try different activities and come back together again, making Mega City ideal for families with mixed age ranges, large friendship groups, birthday parties, team socials and big nights out.”

As well as this extensive list of attractions, Mega Bowl will also offer a laser tag arena, laser raid and laser maze challenges, batting cages, AR clay pigeon shooting, AR darts, VR arenas, pool tables, Flashpads, and Total Football.

The venture represents a £11m investment from Airport Bowl owners and brothers Jeet, Mandeep and Luke, who said “at its heart, Mega City is about bringing people together.”

“We wanted to create a place where different generations can enjoy shared experiences, feel welcome and make real memories.”
