Entertainment and leisure centre XSite Braehead is to become “an even more dynamic destination” this year, as several tenants invest heavily in expanding their own amusement offering.
The Renfrew site includes Gravity, Funstation, Climbzone, Laser Station and Paradise Island Adventure Golf, as well as an Odeon cinema and Tenpin, which unveiled a new refurbished guest experience in October.
“Big changes at XSite Braehead, and even bigger things to come!” said a spokesperson. “The recent transformation of Tenpin Ltd (part of Ten Entertainment Group Plc) which added four new bowling lanes, two private karaoke rooms, and a refreshed bar allows us to evolve into an even more dynamic destination for businesses and visitors.”
“We’re not stopping there! 2025 will bring even more game-changing developments, including the world’s longest indoor karting track with K1 Speed UK, the expansion of Funstation Group, and a brand-new high ropes course at Paradise Island Adventure Golf.”
The developments represent a combined investment of £12.6m, with K1 Speed expected to deliver an extra 90,000 sq ft of entertainment space at the complex.
“With the UK leisure and entertainment market expected to be valued at £121bn by 2028 we’re firmly placing ourselves on that map in Scotland.”
