Hollywood Bowl has completed a £325,000 refurbishment of its Tolworth venue, which includes a major expansion of the existing arcade area, now spread over two floors.

The state-of-the-art amusement floor features a range of new arcade titles, with the revamp also including improvements to the bar, diner and reception area.

“The team at Hollywood Bowl Tolworth are ecstatic to reveal our newly revamped centre, packed with an incredible array of entertainment for the entire community,” said centre manager Sean Crysell. 

“Our upgraded arcades and attractions ensure there’s fun for everyone, whether you’re visiting with family or friends. We can’t wait for you to experience the excitement and create unforgettable memories with us!”

The refurbishment comes as Hollywood Bowl continues its expansion programme, with Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council approving plans for a new 21-lane bowling alley at The Boulevard shopping centre in Banbridge.

“Hollywood Bowl will be a dedicated ‘one-stop shop’, designed to be a valuable entertainment facility at The Boulevard, serving the current demand for entertainment and evening economy,” said a report from planning officers.

“The investment for the proposal is £9m, and during construction around 20 jobs will be created, with a further 30 created when the facility is in operation.”
