Blueprint returned to Dublin last week with the usual sparkle on display at the ever-growing Irish Gaming Show. Andy Tipple talked to Coinslot about the important regulatory developments finally making progress and the opportunities it brings to the Irish market.
After showcasing Blueprint Operation’s latest cabinets and games at the Irish Gaming Show last month, MD Andy Tipple is relishing the opportunity to equip the country’s operators with his company’s top earning machines.
Ireland is on the brink of implementing new gambling legislation that will open up the market to operators and suppliers alike, and the Dublin expo was the perfect occasion to celebrate, network, and showcase the kind of products that Irish players will love.
“As you can imagine the mood was very upbeat with operators and suppliers looking ahead to the opening-up of the market,” commented Tipple. “The Gambling Regulation Bill is the country’s first regulatory update since 1956 and follows nearly two decades of planning and the involvement of six successive ministers. While there’s still a lot of detail to clarify, not least technical standards, we have a valuable opportunity to introduce Blueprint’s best in class products to an important new market which is on our doorstep.”
In terms of the two day show in Dublin, Tipple was in no doubt of the value. “The Irish Show represented an opportunity to meet with operators – many of whom we already know – and to update them on our cabinets and games,” he explained. “It was an invaluable opportunity to cement the relationships that you need in order to enter a new market at the same time as explaining Blueprint’s strategy and direction of travel.”
Looking at the Irish market in general, Tipple was quick to reinforce Blueprint’s plans and opportunities to expand its footprint there. “Operators and players in every market demand choice and we will be bringing a library of well recognised and extremely successful game titles that will be familiar to those who play online,” Tipple concluded. “In general terms, everything that we do will be in partnership with the industry in Ireland with the end goal of adding our top earning machines to an operator’s portfolio of gaming entertainment.”
