Rays of Sunshine is delighted to have received delivery of hundreds of plush toys related to the upcoming Minecraft Movie, thanks to Bacta member Bandai Namco.
The charity is currently preparing for private showings of the film in Cambridge and Bath, as part of its Wish Community programme of events. The events will take place shortly after the general release of the film in April.
Plushies generously donated by the company will be given to each attendee, as part of a goodie bag to help bring the film to life even more. On top of this, the screenings will also feature free snacks and face painting.
The Rays of Sunshine Wish Community is a programme of free events designed to bring families with similar lived experiences together for lots of fun, to help reduce feelings of isolation. Every child who is granted a wish is eligible to be a member.
Nicola Aquila, Major Gifts and Partnerships Lead at Rays of Sunshine, said: “Bandai Namco have been incredibly loyal supporters of Rays of Sunshine for some time, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their help in making magic happen for the seriously ill children we support.
“We are so pleased with this latest gift of plushies for our Minecraft events, and know the children and families attending will feel even more special because of them!”
