Bingo is to return to The Deluxe Bingo Club and Gaming Centre in Hastings, seven months after the landmark seafront venue was acquired by The Godden Gaming Organisation.
The building changed hands in April when industry veteran Harry Symonds retired after sixty years, with Jeremy Godden overseeing a “significant investment” in the premises.
“We are working towards Easter 2025 to fully relaunch Sussex’s Premier Bingo Venue,” said Godden. “In the meantime, visit us to enjoy your Bingo in our ground floor bingo and slots lounge, or visit Palace Amusements at White Rock for more Casino Slots.”
Reporting on the reopening, Sussex World wrote that “Linked Bingo will be called from 10am until 11pm every day, with National Game tickets on sale for the 2pm and 8pm Big Jackpot Games.”
“Afternoon and Evening sessions will bring all the fun of the Bingo in house every day – guaranteeing £1000s to be won at the Deluxe.”
On securing the site in spring, Godden said the Pelham Place venue “fits well into our existing portfolio, complementing our other AGC located in Hastings,” adding that his company “will be investing significantly in the business.”
The sale was facilitated by specialist agency CJ White, which wrote “the business is in a prime central location in Hastings which is popular with tourists and locals alike.”
