Boomerang Digital invests in people, positivity, and progression

Being ahead of the curve and introducing change from a position of strength are characteristics of progressive organisations. Such is the case with Boomerang Digital which has promoted from within to ensure it accommodates the needs and demands of a dynamic market.

Boomerang Digital, the gaming technology brand which reported an impressive first half of the year has announced a suite of internal promotions as it continues to grow and develop at pace.

Confirming details of the re-organisation and how it will benefit Boomerang’s growing customer base, Chris Wrigley, COO of Boomerang, said: “The brand is built on the skill and dedication of the team, and I am delighted that we have been able to draw on those strengths and recognise those individuals who have contributed so much to the great success enjoyed by the brand.

“To reflect the needs of our customers I am delighted to announce that James Stubbs is taking up the new role of Chief Systems Architect. James will be responsible for optimising the technology and software solutions at our disposal and ensuring that future developments are based on the best possible solutions, improving development efficiency, implementing a centralised and structured approach to our development delivery and ensuring that we are the standard bearers of best-in-class innovation.”

Stubbs will report directly into James Armstrong who has been promoted to the position of Development Director with responsibility for all of Boomerang’s products as well as the teams that deliver them.

Expanding on the role Wrigley said: “As well as overseeing the day-to-day development department James will maintain a focus on further product integration across the portfolio. Additionally, he will be working closely with James Stubbs investigating how we best deliver a more unified approach to our technology and software solutions.

“Josh Guzdek will report into James in his current role of Business Analyst. Furthermore, we are working to grow this team with the recruitment of two new product delivery managers, which will also report into James and help manage the development delivery.”

In additional developments Jonothan Haynes is joining Freddie Shreeve’s sales team as Director of Account Management and Chris Richardson will be promoted to Workshop Manager in Hull taking over day to day management of the workshop as well as the Hull Helpdesk.

James Stout will be promoted to the role of Operations Manager for the Playsafe side of the Boomerang business. Responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of operational and development support he will be assisted by Matt Taylor who continues as Support Manager.
