Bournemouth Pier has been confirmed as a Silver Tier supporter of the 2025 Bournemouth International Film Festival, showcasing the event’s new preview trailer on its digital screen.

The partnership will also see pier owner Adventure Attractions sponsor the Best UK Short Film Award during the October festival, “recognising and elevating emerging filmmakers.”

“Bournemouth already has the backdrop, now it’s about curating and promoting the stories that bring it to life,” said Adventure Attractions’ group marketing manager James Balcazar. “BIFF taps into the town’s creative potential and we’re proud to help set the stage for something that can grow year after year.”

“It’s about more than visibility, it’s about energy. BIFF brings a dynamic cultural momentum to the town and we’re pleased to play a role in supporting its continued development.”

Speaking on the partnership, BIFF director Steve McCarten said: “Adventure Attractions is helping us connect with people who may not yet be following the festival online, but will discover it through this powerful visual presence on the pier.”
