Adventure Attractions has announced it will suspend the entry toll for Bournemouth Pier “indefinitely,” following a successful trial period in partnership with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council which ran throughout 2025.

With increased accessibility having a positive impact on footfall and community engagement, the company has now invested £700,000 in ensuring the attraction remains free to enter until at least October 2029.

“Increasing accessibility to the pier has always been our ambition, and the response over the past year has been incredibly positive,” said MD Sarah Hunter. “Continuing the toll suspension allows us to build on that momentum and ensure the pier remains a place everyone can enjoy, all year round.”

“This is a huge investment and risk for us, but the increased footfall and support for our businesses have shown us that the opportunity is there to grow the pier into the future and develop the returns that can justify the investment.”
