Brighton Palace Pier has teased the addition of an “exciting” new ride set to be joining its existing attractions in the coming months.
According to a video via social media, the pier has already begun installing what appears to be the Miami-style ride.
“The Palace Pier posted a video on their social media channels of what appears to be a new ride being installed at night,” reported The Argus. “In the video, part of the roof at the entrance to the pier is lifted by a crane in order to get the components of the new ride through.”
“The equipment can then be seen being driven to the end of the pier, where the existing rides are.”
In a post beneath the video, a spokesperson for the pier wrote “something exciting has arrived on Brighton Palace Pier. Watch this space for exciting updates soon…”
The video was well-received by pier fans, with one taking to Instagram to write “finally investing in the thrill market. So happy to see this!”
Others were intrigued by the installation process itself, with another commenter adding “I’ve always wondered how they get the rides on.”
