Brighton Palace Pier to reintroduce admission fee ahead of summer season

Admission charges will return to Brighton Palace Pier from 7 March, with visitors paying £1 per person during the pre-summer period.

Local residents can claim free entry by registering for a Local Residents Card. Anyone living within a BN postcode can sign up for the scheme, which provides free entry for the cardholder and up to three guests throughout the year, as well as access to additional offers.

“Brighton Palace Pier can confirm the return of the admission fee on the 7th of March 2026, where it will be currently priced at £1 per person for the pre-summer period,” said a spokesperson for the operator. “We remain committed to preserving this iconic part of British heritage and working hard to keep our Grade II* Listed structure standing for generations to come.”

Proceeds from the fee will go towards the upkeep of the historic attraction.
