Hot on the heels of being named Pier of the Year 2026, Britannia Pier has announced an “amazing” programme of live entertainment taking place at the pier theatre this season.
Owners Joseph Manning and Joseph Abbott are building on the success of the £2.2m renovation, with further plans to revitalise the pier as a year-round attraction.
“The team at Britannia Pier are making an amazing effort to bring the end of the pier theatre back to life,” reported Go Great Yarmouth. “With the biggest line-up of shows Great Yarmouth has seen for many years, we are very impressed.”
“There’s something for everyone including top name comedy acts, the very best tribute shows, bands, magical pantomimes and a summer variety show. Purchase a ticket and support live entertainment in Great Yarmouth in 2026.”
The programme of events includes an Evening with Arsenal Legends: Ray Parlour and Paul Merson, as well as music from Showaddywaddy, The Drifters, and countless tribute performers.
Live comedy will be provided by acts including Joe Pasquale, Jason Manford, Reginald D Hunter, and Shappi Khorsandi, while the theatre will also host Britannia Live, a “spectacular new variety stage production bringing the magic of classic seaside entertainment back to the end of the pier in Great Yarmouth.”
