Butlin’s is continuing to invest in its family entertainment and leisure facilities at Bognor Regis with a new £1.8m soft play centre and puppet theatre, due to open in time for Easter this year.

The 3,000 sq ft facility will be able to entertain up to 200 children across several sections themed around members of the Skyline Gang, with an adjacent 100-person seating area and cafe for parents.

“We’re excited to open our biggest ever Soft Play and Puppet Theatre space this Easter,” said resort director Matt Rake. “With both included in the price, they have always been popular with our guests.” 

“These incredible new spaces are bright, fun and full of personality just like the Skyline Gang and their performances which are always a standout part of family’s breaks.”

The four-storey soft play area will be eight metres high, and split into three areas for babies, toddlers, and juniors, while the puppet theatre will provide a bespoke home for the 2025 Puppet Castle shows, including Under The Sea, Jingle in the Jungle and Christmouse Wonderland.

The announcement comes just three months after the £15m PlayXperience indoor activity centre opened at the holiday park, with Rake adding “there are so many new offerings for guests staying at our Bognor Regis resort in 2025.”
