Buzz Bingo has completed a full renovation and relaunch of its Stockport club, one of eight venues being “reimagined for the future of bingo” this year as part of a £25m investment.
The revamp follows hot on the heels of similar projects at Sheffield Parkway and Leeds, and includes a “transformed customer experience” with upgraded technology and facilities.
“Another fantastic relaunch this time at our Stockport club,” said a spokesperson on 31 August. “Fantastic atmosphere last night and some great feedback from our customers who love the changes.”
“From a newly refurbished lounge bar area, an improved customer journey and topped off with a technological and audio visual advancement in how we deliver the game and bingo experience really pushes us onto a new level.”
The estate-wide investment comes after Buzz secured funding to “modernise bingo for the next generation of players.”
“By combining cutting-edge technology, more modern interiors and even better food and drink, we’re not just refurbishing our clubs – we’re going to be reimagining what bingo can be in the future,” said CEO Dominic Mansour.
According to data, footfall at Sheffield Parkway was up 200 percent during launch week in July, and 131 percent on the same period in 2024.
