Buzz County Clubs reports £50,000 loss for 2025

Buzz Bingo-owned operator Buzz County Clubs Ltd has reported a loss of £50,000 for 2025, significantly down on the profit of £177,000 achieved in 2024, despite an uptick in revenue from £3m to £3.12m year-on-year.

The Falkirk-based company provides “leisure activities and facilities in certain Buzz Bingo clubs,” and is part of the wider Buzz Venus Group Ltd, which reported revenue of £241.1m for the same period.

“The company is exposed to certain financial risks,” said a statement from the board. “Financial risk is managed at a group level and full disclosure is included in the accounts of the parent company of the group, Buzz Venus Group Limited.”

“The detailed cash flow forecasts for the group for a period of at least 12 months following the approval of these financial statements indicate that, taking account of a plausible range of downside scenarios the group will have sufficient funds from cash, bank borrowings and working capital facilities to meet liabilities as they fall due.”

The accounts cover the 53-week period from 12 January 2025 to 17 January 2026, during which net assets dropped from £7m to £6.9m, however the board remains bullish about the future, noting group business is performing in line with forecasts.
