Expanding its partnership with E-Service, Clacton Pavilion has rolled out 13 new Nayax readers to modernise payments, boost efficiency and deliver a smoother customer experience.
Clacton Pavilion has taken a significant step in modernising its amusement offer, expanding its contactless payment system with support from industry specialists E-Service.
The Pavilion had previously introduced a small number of E-Service cashless units to trial. After strong performance and positive guest response, the team opted to extend the system across the gaming floor. E-Service recently fitted circa 13 additional Nayax cashless readers throughout the venue, completing the rollout quickly and with minimal disruption.
For General Manager Calum Wright, the decision to scale up was an easy one.
“The whole process with E-Service was seamless from start to finish,” he commented. “The installation was completed far quicker than I expected, and the team worked around us with almost no disturbance to the arcade. Going cashless felt like a big step, but E-Service made it simple and affordable – we’re really pleased with the results.”
E-Service says the Pavilion’s expanded setup reflects a wider trend towards reliable, friction-free payment journeys in high-traffic leisure sites. With venues increasingly looking to enhance both play experience and operational efficiency, the Pavilion’s decision to broaden its cashless footprint aligns with industry momentum.
The installation makes use of E-Service’s plug-and-play solutions with Nayax and Payter devices, designed to help operators become fully operational within minutes. The company added: “In truth, contactless isn’t just about payments anymore. It’s about reducing friction, increasing play, supporting staff and modernising venues at a sensible, manageable pace. “
