Club 3000 Bingo Bristol confirms closure

Club 3000 Bingo in Bristol has announced it will permanently close on 31 October after 25 years of operation. The closure comes as the shopping centre prepares for demolition due to structural issues with its car park, ahead of redevelopment plans that include 492 new homes.

In a heartfelt letter to customers, the venue said: “We have done everything we could to keep the club open until spring next year but due to our priority of keeping customers and staff safe we must close sooner … We are extremely disappointed and saddened that it is sooner than we had hoped.”

The bingo hall confirmed it is seeking planning approval for a new site on Hartcliffe Way, with hopes to reopen by March 2027. During the closure, customers are encouraged to visit Club 3000’s nearby branches in Cardiff and Cwmbran, with a free Saturday bus service to the latter being arranged.

“We truly appreciate and value every one of you – our loyal customers, many of whom we now consider friends,” the letter added. “While we are devastated… our intention is to move forward with the new club as quickly as possible so we can welcome you all back home soon.”
