MP Pam Cox visited Buzz Bingo Colchester during National Bingo Week last week to celebrate the club raising £20,000 for Variety, the Children’s Charity.

The member for Colchester joined staff, customers and Buzz Bingo representatives at the event for a cheque presentation, before taking a tour of the club and even calling a game.

“It’s been a real pleasure to visit Buzz Bingo Colchester and see the energy, warmth, and community spirit that bingo brings to life,” said Cox. “The £20,000 raised for Variety is a testament to the generosity of players and the commitment of staff. It’s lovely to see players enjoying the game and raising so much for charity.”

Speaking after calling a game herself, Cox added: “It was wonderful to share that moment with so many friendly faces. It reminded me just how much joy and connection this game brings to people.”
