“Content, content, content”: Blueprint outlines its key focus for 2025 at Open Day

Blueprint MD Andy Tipple is clear on the direction of travel for Blueprint this year, with the company building on the success of its new Revolution and Velocity cabinets with a pipeline of quality content. Speaking to Coinslot, Tipple explained how Blueprint is moving into its “next generation” and what that means for the rest of 2025.

Coinslot: Tell us a little bit about Blueprint’s presence at Park Avenue Open Day? What are your observations about the event this year?

Andy Tipple: I’ve been coming here for over 25 years, and I said to the guys that were coming here for the first time; don’t treat it as a pure trade show, treat it as a networking event, treat it as an experience and it will stay with you forever.

For Blueprint, we’ll bring products to the event, but it’s more about understanding what is happening in the industry and getting relationships with all the people you meet here.

Coinslot: Park Avenue Open Day marks a key turning point in the year. How has the first half of 2025 been for Blueprint?

Andy Tipple: From our perspective, as expected. We have two core elements in the UK market, B3 and Cat C. The B3 market has been very tough to push the product, whereas Cat C has been very vibrant for us, and the real outstanding part of our Q1 to Q2.

We’ve got the Revolution and the Velocity here, which we launched at EAG. It’s the first time we’ve had two cabinets that integrate a V Deck – we call it a Second Game Screen – and that really is the start of our next generation. Now we have the cabinets, our focus is on content. Content, content, content.

Coinslot: Looking ahead, what should we look out for from Blueprint in the coming months?

Andy Tipple: Once we have cleared our GMTS Submission we have the official launch of our licensed brand Bullseye in June at Coral Island Blackpool, then it’s really heads down and push our new content through the sales team.

We have two B3 Titles that are complete game changers, one of which was released 27th May which was Fishing Frenzy, and  Bigger Fish a very multi layered game which had had amazing test figures.

From there we have seven unique game Titles across B3 and Cat C one of which will be another omni-channel release.

Just to add the final punch we have a new dynamic game menu for the Revolution and Velocity which introduces search functionality and game previews which is being launched through May and June.

Coinslot: There’s been a lot of talk at the show about gambling reform, what are your main observations on GMTS and the direction of travel on regulation?

Andy Tipple: We just need to wait and see what happens, once the submissions have gone in.

The GC and DCMS will have a full and detailed overview from every Operator and Manufacturer and I can only speak from our perspective however we are expecting an outcome based on the facts submitted, the time and effort from certain individuals in BACTA and the industry to get to this point has been incredible and they need to be praised for the dedication and commitment.
