Count Binface pledges to make claw machines “fairer” in Clacton by-election manifesto

Clacton by-election candidate Count Binface has announced his intention to make claw machines “fairer” in his manifesto, ahead of the vote on 13 August.

The comedy contender has emerged as the most prominent rival for former MP Nigel Farage, who triggered the by-election after resigning earlier this month.

“The move appeared to backfire quickly, when all the major parties decided against taking part in a vote they described as a ‘stunt’ and ‘vanity project’,” reported the Metro.

“As a result, Farage finds himself facing 33 opponents – a record for a UK parliamentary election – almost all of whom are fringe figures or comedy characters.”

In the manifesto, Binface pledged “arcade grabber games to be made fairer,” and that he would “spend more time in Clacton-on-Sea than in Washington DC, and to champion the area.”

He also proposes the “regeneration of Walton Pier so it is just as great as Clacton Pier,” and “potholes to be filled, using copies of the 2024 Labour Party Manifesto.”
