Dabbers Social Bingo has announced the return of its Comedy Caller Contest for 2026, offering a bigger £1,500 cash prize and guaranteed work with the operator.
The competition invites 24 emerging comedy and cabaret performers to showcase their bingo-calling skills in a lively contest designed to find the funniest new bingo caller in the UK. Hosted by acclaimed musical comedian Katie Pritchard, the event celebrates the entertainment-driven approach that has become central to modern bingo shows.
The winner will receive a £1,500 cash prize, the chance to perform at a major UK summer festival and guaranteed work with Dabbers Social Bingo over the next 12 months. The judging panel will include agents and festival bookers, giving participants a potential career boost.
“Amid all the madness happening in the world, this year’s competition promises a much needed dose of light relief and entertainment,” said Dabbers Bingo managing director Jonny Unknown. “It’s time to see who will turn our bingo game upside down in their own brilliantly hilarious style.”
The contest begins in April at Dabbers HQ in Houndsditch, London, with the grand final scheduled for July. Audience tickets are free but limited.
