Deluxe Bingo Hastings celebrated its first anniversary on 21 June, marking one year since the venue reopened following more than two years of closure.

The bingo hall hosted birthday celebrations featuring gift bags for customers, cash and prize raffles, and both afternoon and evening bingo sessions. 

General manager Ileana Danescu reflected on the venue’s first year back in operation. “We’ve had an incredible year since reopening and the response from customers has been overwhelming,” she commented. “The venue has always been special to Hastings and it’s lovely to see it busy again with regular customers returning.”

Danescu also highlighted several significant bingo wins during the year and the popularity of the venue’s Mega Money Nights.

Chief operating officer Stephen Lawrence added: “When we reopened last June, there was such a sense of excitement from the community – people had been waiting for this venue to come back for years.”

The anniversary marked another milestone for the venue, which has served as a social hub in Hastings for more than 40 years.

“It’s been wonderful to watch the team’s incredible work and what we’ve achieved together over this first year,” Lawrence concluded.
