The management of Deluxe Bingo Hastings has seen the impact of the club’s £10,000 donation to St Michael’s Hospice first hand, after visiting the palliative care centre to meet staff and residents.

Chief operating officer Stephen Lawrence and GM Ileana Danescu were invited to tour the hospice after a successful 12 months of in-club fundraising, and have now confirmed the partnership will be extended for a second year.

“Visiting St Michael’s Hospice and meeting the team behind such vital work really brings home the impact of what our customers and staff have helped achieve,” said Lawrence.

“Seeing how that support translates into real care for people in our community makes it even more meaningful. We are delighted to continue our partnership and support the hospice into the year ahead.”

Danescu said “this partnership has been incredibly important to us and to our customers, many of whom have personal connections to the hospice. Reaching the £10,000 milestone is a fantastic achievement, and it reflects the generosity and community spirit we see every day in our club.”

St Michael’s fundraising manager Rebecca Futrall added “the support from The Deluxe will make a wonderful difference. We very much look forward to continuing to work with you in this coming year.”
