The reopening of one of the most iconic bingo halls in the south of England is less than a month away, thanks to the reinvestment efforts of the Godden Gaming Organisation.
Situated on the promenade in Hastings, Deluxe Bingo closed its doors in February 2023, for what local punters feared might be the last time.
But acquisition by the Godden Gaming group was just round the corner, ensuring that the iconic venue, which has operated as a bingo site for over 40 years, would once again welcome guests back through its doors.
June 21st will mark the grand re-opening of Deluxe, with players treated to two bingo sessions and a live brass band for what organisers have said will be a “vibrant, feel good atmosphere.”
“We’re absolutely over-the-moon to be bringing Deluxe Bingo back to Hastings,” director and company namesake Jeremy Godden told local newspaper the Sussex Express. “It’s an iconic venue with a special place in the hearts of so many people, and the response from the community has been incredible. Our customers are genuinely thrilled to see it return – and so are we.”
“It’s going to be a proper celebration, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone through the doors,” he added. “This really is just the beginning of something special for Hastings.”
