Dreamland has opened its new Wild River log flume in time for the summer holidays, with the ride offering guests two thrilling drops of 10 and 15 metres.

Those watching will be able to target passing flumes with the coin-operated water canons, as well as making use of waterproof Dreamland ponchos.

“This summer, we are delighted to welcome a brand new headline attraction to Dreamland’s ride line-up,” said a spokesperson.

“The Wild River is a welcome return of the classic Log Flume to the park and we can’t wait for guests to take the plunge!”

The new ride comes as Dreamland celebrates its 105th anniversary by introducing all-day wristbands for the first time, offering unlimited access to rides such as the Rock ‘N’ Roller roller coaster, Big Wheel, Pirate Ship, and Dodgems.

The heritage park has also added free-roam VR games to the Roller Room for the first time this year.
