It’s one of those roadshows that operators on the east coast and beyond appreciate and this year’s ECAS took UDC, 7’s Above, E-Service and GeWeTe to Skegness with a range of top performing product. They didn’t disappoint.
UDC’s East Coast Amusements Show 2025 concluded after two successful days in Skegness on 20-21 May.
Exhibitors 7s Above, GeWeTe, E-Service and the hosts themselves, gathered at the Southview Park Hotel to showcase their latest innovations, with the event featuring a strong mix from the travelling quartet.
The man behind the east coast trip, UDC Sales Director Jonathan Lauder, was happy with the showing. “We had a steady stream of customers across the two days with people popping in whenever it was convenient for them. With the coastal arcades busy this week with the sunny weather and preparing for the bank holiday weekend, we were happy to fit in around their busy schedule.”
And that flexibility worked to UDC’s advantage with Lauder reporting: “We’ve sold games right off the show floor and delivered them directly to customers nearby, with the team able to assist with the install as needed.”
Reflex Gaming also enjoyed a strong profile at this week’s East Coast Amusements Show courtesy of distributor 7s Above who showcased a number of the company’s leading products at the two-day event. “Great to see Reflex so well represented by 7s Above at this week’s ECAS show in Skegness,” noted Reflex’s business development manager Mark Purdy.
But ECAS isn’t just about product, it’s also about reaching out and catching up as he noted: “It’s been lovely to sit down and catch up over a coffee with our friends and customers in the area. The laid-back pace of the event really gives us more time to spend with individual visitors and go into depth about games, find out what’s working for them right now and talk about the forthcoming summer season. People are managing their expectations and taking a wait and see approach, given the uncertainty in the economy. But we were pleased with the positive feedback about the performance of many of our games such as the Tornado, StepmaniaX and Shock Wave.”
So much so that another visit is already in the making: “We’ve had a wonderful time and look forward to returning again next year.”
