“Every decision is subject to detailed scrutiny and risk assessment”

Andy Tipple, Blueprint Ops MD, takes an extremely balanced approach in his assessment. The budget was better recieved than expected, but the White Paper is still in no-man’s land. And yet he encapsulates the general consensus: the optimism comes from what his business itself has done, despite, and in spite, of the mess what the external parties have delivered. He is optimistic and confident, but although he doesn’t say it as such, that confidence has been earned by Blueprint’s own endeavours.

Although the budget outcomes were well-received, to be candid it’s difficult to be fully optimistic when so much from the White Paper on so many fronts still remain unresolved.

The combination of regulatory shifts, legislative ambiguity, and economic pressure means that every decision is subject to detailed scrutiny and risk assessment.

However, we also recognise and value the many positives that have emerged from 2025. We continue to support customers who are expanding, we continue to deliver top-quality content and we will continue to play a leading role in contributing to any technical changes required for the industry and the innovation that operators look to us for.

While 2026 will require careful navigation, we remain confident in our strategy, in our people, in the BPO product pipeline and as a result in our ability to support our customers.
