Clacton MP Nigel Farage has released a video praising his constituency of Clacton as part of English Tourism Week, which this year is themed “Local Stories, National Growth.”
The clip includes praise for the town’s popular pier, as well as the range of hospitality options on offer, including the Plough pub in Great Bentley.
“This week marks English Tourism Week and where better to come for a day out, rain or shine, than Clacton,” said Farage. “Miles of sandy beaches and this six and a half acres, the biggest pier space in the whole of Europe.”
“Things for people of all ages to do. I promise you, come to Clacton it’s a great day out – and there’s lots of hospitality too.”
The video features footage of Farage visiting Clacton Pier, as well as the 1,000 multi-coloured beach huts in Walton.
The English Tourism Week campaign runs until 22 March.
