From House of Lords to Number Ten: Chris Black completes major trade trip to London

Fresh from representing the Leeds Chamber of Commerce at the House of Lords last week, Sound Leisure MD Chris Black capped off his trade visit to London with a trip to Number Ten Downing Street.

In his role as Department for Business and Trade Export Champion, Black joined fellow business leaders and international delegates at the Prime Minister’s residence for a reception marking the recent UK/EU Summit.

“Held in the garden of Number Ten surrounded by the press, EU officials, government ministers and other world leading UK businesses and organisations [Black] heard directly from the Prime Minister about the trade deal that had been negotiated to assist UK and EU business collaboration throughout the UK and Europe,” said a spokesperson.

“It was another fantastic opportunity to promote our region and our British designed and built jukeboxes that we export around the world. Who knows where our jukeboxes will turn up next!”

Black’s visit to the capital also included an appearance at the Royal Windsor Horse Show to promote Sound Leisure’s jukebox range, and after visiting Downing Street Black joked “we’ve got to get a Juke in there!”

“Looking at that front door, I’m thinking a piano black Dome Top. I actually have one that would be perfect.”
