In a sign of intent Game Nation has succeeded in securing the services of ex William Hill executive Tony Giles. Described by CEO Mark Jepp as representing a ‘major coup’ for the business Giles has a formidable CV having operated at an extremely high level with responsibility for more than 2,000 staff.
Game Nation has confirmed the appointment of hugely experienced industry executive Tony Giles to the newly created post of Regional Operations Manager. He joins following a near 25-year career spent with William Hill, most recently serving the brand as Regional Director for the South of England.
Tony Giles began his career with William Hill in 2002 as a fast-track Deputy Manager before going-on to represent the betting giant as a Retail Gaming Manager responsible for the commercial revenues of 250 betting shops across London. He subsequently progressed to become Area Manager for Central London, Regional Manager for London and East Anglia followed by Regional Director for the South of England, a post that he assumed in 2022.
Commenting on what he described as a ‘landmark appointment’ Game Nation CEO Mark Jepp said: “Securing someone of Tony’s calibre and with his impressive track-record represents a major coup for the business and a clear sign of intent.
