A case-book example of games creator and AGC operator working together to raise standards and enhance the player experience has seen Reflex Gaming’s Business Development Director Mark Purdy stage three Slots workshops for team members working at Game Nation. Part of Game Nation’s ‘Every Spin Counts’ programme the workshops have enriched machine knowledge and understanding of player profiles and preferences.
High Street AGC operator Game Nation has extended its far-reaching team investment undertakings completing a Slots Insight workshop programme delivered by Mark Purdy, Business Development Director at Reflex Gaming.
Entitled ‘Mastering Slots: Trends, Hits and Player Insights for AGC success’ the workshops were co-created by the teams at Reflex and Game Nation with the over-arching objectives of enriching machine knowledge, understanding player profiles and preferences, optimising the gaming-floor layout as well as sharing the retailing disciplines that can be deployed to build consumer loyalty whilst being aligned with a safer gambling ethos.
Expanding on the workshop programme Mark Purdy said: “The sessions are very much participatory in nature with group discussions and hands-on game play culminating in teams pitching their own game concepts and launch strategy.
“Among many other issues, we explored what it takes to make a great game, the role of promotional initiatives, stakes and prize delivery, increasing sessional spend and extending venue dwell time.”
Reflecting on his time with the Game Nation teams he added: “They were absolutely fantastic – engaged, interested and interactive from the get-go. The design your own game exercise generated ideas which were a combination of bold, bonkers and totally brilliant! There was a genuine enthusiasm and I feel confident that everyone took something from the sessions that they will use in their venues.”
Game Nation CEO Mark Jepp added: “On behalf of the entire team I would like to say how grateful we are to Mark and of course to Reflex for creating such powerful and professionally delivered workshops. The positive feedback has been off the scale and I feel genuinely privileged that Game Nation was able to participate and benefit from the insight that Mark provided and, in the process help us to elevate the experience that we provide our player communities.”
He added: “The Slots Workshops are part of our ‘Every Spin Counts’ programme which prepares our incredibly talented and dedicated team members to deliver the very best high street gaming experience. I am delighted at the progress that we continue to make and the really positive way that the team is responding to every challenge and opportunity that’s put in front of them. ”
