GENDA opens new Potters Resort FECs on first day of Playnation ownership

It’s a job well done all round as both Inspired and GENDA celebrated the sale and acquisition of a 225 strong estate of FECs and mini sites in the UK this week. Inspired deposited £18.6 million whilst GENDA opened its first sites with huge aplomb.

Japanese amusement operator GENDA has marked its first day as owner of Indigo NewCo Ltd by completing the installation of four new venues at Potters Resort hotels in Essex and Norfolk.

The facilities now become part of an estate of 100 FECs and 125 mini sites previously owned and managed by international gaming group Inspired Entertainment under the Playnation banner.

“Speed is King,” said Playnation’s regional account and operations director Dan Goodall. “Day one of our new ownership GENDA Playnation Entertainment Ltd and our first install is complete.”

“It has been an absolute pleasure working with the team at Potters Resort to achieve this and delighted at the end result. Thank you Jill O’Loughlin for everything and for giving us this opportunity and we look forward to the prospect of delighting everyone and Potters and of course your guests.”

GENDA’s global arcade operation now includes 1,000 arcades and 14,000 mini-locations in Japan, China, the US, and the UK.
