Highest Score Arcade Salisbury applies for alcohol licence

Highest Score Arcade in Salisbury has applied to the City Council for a licence to serve alcohol, less than a year after opening at the Cross Keys Shopping Centre.

The retro arcade welcomed its first customers in August 2024, and has since gone on to establish itself as a popular venue for gamers and families.

“Under the proposed terms, the arcade would be able to serve alcohol from 11am to 11pm Monday to Saturday, and from midday to 10pm on Sundays,” reported the Salisbury Journal.

“The application submitted by James Petherick does not include a request for permission to host live or recorded music, or performances.”

The submission comes as Highest Score continues a full renovation of its first floor, due to be completed in July 2025, which will provide space for additional machines beside its existing range of retro arcade classics and pinball, as well as a new seating area.
