Hit makers: NSM Music eyes expansion as Atom continues to set records

NSM Music is looking to expand deeper into the European market this year as the Curve, Lightning and Atom jukeboxes continue to exceed expectations. With the Phantom due for launch this summer, and a new collaboration with Sound Leisure already attracting interest, sales manager Alex Kirby told Coinslot that the firm is expecting an “incredible” 2026.

Coinslot: What are the ‘must-haves’ on your stand at EAG and why are they the products that will make the difference for operators this year?

Alex Kirby: We’ll be showing our full line up of jukeboxes. We’ll be showing the Atom, of course, the Curve, and the Lightning.

But we’ll also be showing our first Sound Leisure collaboration; the Nostalgia, and a new collaboration in the form of the NSM Rocket. That’s an edition of the Sound Leisure Rocket with NSM internals. That’ll be on our stand for the first time, which is very exciting.

But the biggest push at the show will be the Phantom. Although it won’t be ready to ship after EAG, it will be shortly, so we’ll be pushing the Phantom pretty hard.

Alongside that, all our jukeboxes – Windows Ten or greater – will soon be able to run Quiz, the unhosted quiz. People with Atoms, Curves, and Lightnings, they’ll be able to pay a subscription and it means they won’t have to book a quiz master to come in, they can host it themselves.

Coinslot: London provides the perfect platform for your best sellers and the reliable favourites. Going into the show, what products have been pulling up trees and how did they perform in venues last year?

Alex Kirby: For us, it’s still been the Atom. The Curve is always steady and keeps flowing nicely, but the Atom has just continued to set records. That’s what the last 24 months has shown, or even longer now.

The Atom story’s just been incredible. It never seems to dip, it just keeps flying out the door.

We expect that’ll continue into 2026, and hopefully with the Phantom being released later on in the year that’ll only add to the Atom’s success.

Coinslot: Talk us through new launches and any new deals or partnerships you’re planning over the coming months?

Alex Kirby: We’ll be launching the Sound Leisure collaboration, the NSM Rocket. That’s the hugely successful and beautiful handcrafted Sound Leisure cabinet with the NSM Atom internals, and boasting a big touchscreen on the front. It’s a lovely jukebox, and that’s something we’ll be launching at EAG.

We’ll also be soft-launching the Phantom, and the unhosted Quiz.

Coinslot: Are you looking to break into new markets or territories?

Alex Kirby: We’ve already started dipping our toe into Europe, so we’ll be pushing harder this year.

We already do sell across all continents, but we’ll certainly be pushing more this year.

We were at IAAPA the last couple of years. Last year it was in Barcelona, the year before it was in Amsterdam, and we’ll be at IAAPA again this year, which is in ExCeL, same as EAG.
