Hollywood Bowl has finally opened its new venue in Swindon, after twice pushing back the official launch date since late spring.
The company has invested £3.5m in converting the former PC World unit in Greenbridge Retail Park, which welcomed its first guests last weekend.
“We are delighted to unveil our new Hollywood Bowl centre in Swindon,” said CEO Stephen Burns. “This opening is a testament to our broader ambition to bring world-class entertainment facilities to communities across the UK.”
“Our investment not only helps enhance the local leisure scene but also demonstrates our commitment to economic growth in the region.”
The site features 22 lanes as well as an arcade, pool table area, and lounge, and has created 45 new jobs.
“Our new centre in Swindon is a brilliant addition to the area and we look forward to welcoming families and friends of all ages and abilities to enjoy and make memories, particularly just in time for Christmas,” said regional manager Scott Moyle.
