A Facebook post from travel blog Global Adventures featuring a photograph of Pat’s Bingo in Blackpool has received almost 600 comments from fans and customers praising the “fantastic” seafront venue.

Formerly Bob’s Bingo, the distinctive red and yellow unit on the corner of Yorkshire Street and the Promenade has been entertaining guests for decades, with many sharing “happy memories” of their visits over the years.

“Had a great time at Pat’s Bingo in May,” said Cathy Mithcell. “Went every day, it made my day. Everyone was so nice.” 

“I have fond memories of coming here with my old dad in September last year,” said Gavin Duff. “We spent a fortune, but we had a great time.”

Sam HB commented: “[I] used to spend hours here with my granny when we went for our holidays to Blackpool, from the late ‘80s to at least the year 2000. I loved it.”

Paul Rowe agreed, adding “Love this place! Brings back happy memories of holidays in the ‘80s and ‘90s.”
