King Pins ready to launch venue number 5 in Leeds

King Pins Leeds will opens its doors to customers on 15 August as the operator’s fifth UK venue.

The grand opening will begin at 9am, when King Pin Colin, the venue’s mascot, cuts the ribbon to officially welcome guests. To mark the occasion, the first 50 people through the doors will receive a free game of their choice.

The entertainment hub will offer ten-pin bowling, duck pin bowling, tech darts, shuffleboard, ice-free curling, American pool, karaoke, arcade games and more. Leeds will also be the first King Pins location to feature crazy pool – a mash-up of crazy golf and pool – alongside duck pin bowling, which is ideal for families thanks to its shorter lanes.

Tech darts will give a 21st-century spin to the traditional game, while shuffleboard and ice-free curling promise competitive group fun. Adventurous players can also try their hand at Wild West shooting in a bid to “save the town”.

A King Pins spokesperson said: “We’re so excited to welcome Leeds to our newest venue – and to treat our first guests to a game on the house.”

The operator has two venues in Manchester and one a piece in Bristol and Glasgow. Following the Leeds opening, King Pins is planning to launch its sixth UK venue in Belfast before the end of the year.
