Lane7 took the opportunity to reflect on over a decade of constant growth this week as it opened two new venues in Newcastle, where the brand first began back in 2013.

ML7 and Lane7 Newcastle The Gate mean the company now operates three sites in the city, with the innovative entertainment centres demonstrating Lane7 is “still raising the bar.”

“Twelve years ago, we opened our very first Lane7 in Newcastle,” said a spokesperson. “One venue, one vision: a bold new take on nights out.” 

“Fast forward to today, and we’re still here. Same energy, more lanes, and a whole new era of play, because we’re bringing two new venues to the ‘Toon.”

Alongside bowling, the site at The Gate offers customers “a UK first augmented gaming concept,” as well as a range of competitive socialising favourites, such as darts, pool karaoke, beer pong, shuffleboard, arcades, and “an exclusive private Red Room.”

Meanwhile Lane7’s new ML7 concept, located on Northumberland Street, is a “stripped-back concept, jam-packed with arcades, duckpin bowling and pool.”

“The venue itself is a haven of graffiti and gaming, designed to offer you a simple way to play. No booking required, you just tap and go.”
