Leigh Park, one of the two AGCs Game Nation acquired last year from Lord George, is putting its best foot forward having recently undergone a refurbishment programme which has restored a vibrant social space for the community it serves.
Game Nation has completed the refurbishment of its Leigh Park AGC in Portsmouth. The 35-machine venue was part of the July 2025 deal concluded with Lord George which also saw Game Nation acquire Leigh Park’s sister site in Fratton.
The branding and refurbishment programme has been completed in time to mark Portsmouth100, the year-long calendar of centenary celebrations being held in honour of the UK’s premier maritime city and the historic home of the Royal Navy.
Game Nation CEO Mark Jepp confirmed: “I’m delighted to announce this refurbishment which reflects the appeal of the Game Nation brand and our commitment to deliver a prestige low-stake gambling experience on the high street.
“In partnership with our interior architects and suppliers we have successfully restored a vibrant social space and brought it back into the community that it serves. The timing couldn’t be better as all four of our Portsmouth venues join the celebrations to mark our host city’s centenary status.”
He added: “Whilst our London Gerrard Street AGC is the Game Nation flagship venue, Leigh Park reflects the extremely high standards of comfort and fit-out that we’re applying across the estate.
“As we continue to build a bold and engaging brand, I’m delighted that we are delivering on our pledge to create socially responsible environments that combine outstanding value for money responsible gambling entertainment with the warmest welcome on the high street.”
