Liam Barratt marks 25-year milestone at SAM Leisure

SAM Leisure operations manager Liam Barrett is celebrating 25 years working for the pool table and indoor games supplier, with director Viola Drage hailing Barrett as “a vital part” of the company’s success, respected for his loyalty, innovation, and “genuine love for the sector.”

SAM Leisure operations manager Liam Barrett is celebrating a quarter of a century at the pool table and indoor games supplier, with his career hailed by the company as pivotal to ensuring it “consistently delivers quality, reliability, and innovation to venues across the UK.”

Having started at SAM in June 2000 when the sector was on the cusp of a digital revolution, Barrett has navigated the changing face of UK leisure with “professionalism and foresight, and an unwavering commitment to the industry.”

“Liam has been a vital part of SAM Leisure for the past 25 years,” said director Viola Drage. “His support, problem-solving and reliability have been invaluable – both to the business and to me personally. I can’t thank him enough for all the help, loyalty and expertise he’s offered throughout the years.”

“As SAM Leisure marks this milestone, the company reflects not only on Liam’s contributions but also on the values that have kept him, and the business, going strong: loyalty, innovation, and a genuine love for the sector.”

As well as Barrett’s landmark celebration, this year also marks 25 years since installations specialist Kevin Reed began working closely with SAM Leisure, and 20 years since Paul Hamilton joined as installations manager.

“Kevin and Paul are both exceptional in what they do,” added Drage. “It’s no exaggeration to say that SAM Leisure wouldn’t be what it is today without them.”

“Their loyalty and hard work over the years have meant so much to me and the whole business. It’s a real honour to be celebrating these milestones together, and we look forward to continuing to work together.”
