LOL bingo lounge in Southport has enjoyed a strong response from locals since opening on 3 October following a £350,000 investment.

The venue was launched by former Southport bingo managers Derick Moss and John Waby, who joined owner Mike Smith and manager Jenny Phillips in welcoming the first visitors.

“People in Southport have missed their bingo! They are pleased to see it back. Bingo here has been so popular that we have increased our offering by 30 percent already, with 32 seats now instead of 24. We have over 1,000 members signed up and those numbers are growing,” commented LOL bingo director Mike Smith. “Our gaming machines have been popular. We have been listening to feedback from our customers and have changed a couple of machines, bringing in a couple of new ones. That is the beauty of operating LOL Bingo Lounges in Southport, Manchester and Newcastle, we can swap machines between them if we need to, depending on what people want.”

The lounge is open seven days a week from 10am until midnight, offering bingo sessions, gaming machines, interactive dartboards and an American pool table.
