Lyons Holiday Parks has acquired Mr B’s Arcade in Rhyl from Tir Prince Amusements, with the seafront site set to benefit from a £1m investment to create “an “atmosphere designed for fun, connection, and unforgettable moments.”
The renovation project will include the installation of a host of new machines and entertainment experiences, as well as an updated F&B offer, and will be ready to welcome customers before the start of the 2026 season.
“For years, Mr B’s has been more than just an arcade – it’s been part of the heartbeat of Rhyl,” said a Lyons spokesperson. “Now, Lyons Holiday Parks is proud to be taking the reins – and we’re bringing big energy, big investment, and big plans.”
“Mr B’s Arcade is iconic. It’s one of those places that people talk about with a smile – because it reminds them of great days in Rhyl. We’re genuinely proud to be stepping into the next chapter of this venue, and we’re doing it with real passion.”
Lyons added the investment is part of an ongoing commitment to the local area, “not just as a holiday destination, but as a community we care deeply about.”
“We can’t wait for people to see what’s coming. This is about more than new machines – it’s about adding something exciting to the town, raising the bar for entertainment, and creating a venue that locals will be proud of and visitors will keep coming back for.”
“Lyons Holiday Parks is committed to helping shape a bright future for Rhyl, and Mr B’s is set to become a major part of that story.”
