Manning’s mini golf to reopen this summer

Manning’s Amusements has announced its new 1980s New York-themed mini golf course will open this summer, after spending months bringing “ghetto street vibes, funky décor and cool urban styling” to the Felixstowe seafront.

Originally opened in 2000 as Harry Putter and Magical Golf, the 13-hole attraction will now be known as Street Golf, and will feature graffiti walls, basketball hoops, and an abandoned subway carriage.

“The finishing touches are being added after eight months of hard work,” reported the East Anglian Daily Times. “The amusements’ staff have worked hard since December and are now adding the final touches to the course and teasing some of the newest additions.”

The renovation was first announced in November when Charles and Johnny Manning confirmed plans to revitalise and renovate the leisure facilities around Manning’s Amusements after leasing the arcade building itself to Family Amusements.

“Think ghetto street vibes, funky décor and cool urban styling that will bring a whole new level to your crazy golf experience,” said the Manning’s. “We can’t wait to welcome you back this bold, stylish and playful new adventure.”

“Thank you for your support as we create something extraordinary – trust us, it will be worth the wait.”
