The owners of Airport Bowl in Heathrow are preparing to open a new FEC in Slough, which will bring an arcade, bowling, AR darts, karaoke, bumper cars, VR experiences and more to the former  Wilko unit on the town’s High Street.

Mega City will be operated by Jeet Grewal, Mandeep Dhanoa and John Dhanoa, with the futuristic-themed venue expected to “revitalise the area and bring in footfall” thanks a wide selection of attractions.

“We’re very excited about opening Mega City in Slough,” said Grewal. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to rejuvenate the High Street and create an exciting destination for the community.”

“Over the next few months, our focus will be building strong connections with local businesses and the community while ensuring everything goes smoothly for the grand opening in October. We hope Mega City offers a unique experience that draws people from near and far.”

Mega City will also offer customers flashpads, batting cages, a laser tag arena, clay shooting simulators and laser mazes, alongside a bar and restaurant, with the Maidenhead Advertiser reporting plans to add “two mezzanine floors of 10,000 sq ft to the venue so the ‘enjoyment can be fully maximised.’”
