NGUK delivers a packed portfolio of  “product developments that support venues looking to refresh and elevate their gaming floors”

“Innovation and flexibility” were the key signals sent out by Novomatic Gaming UK as they flooded the EAG zone with what Phil Burke proudly described as, “products that enhance the player experience while meeting evolving requirements.” And it was pretty effective too with LED signage shining like a beacon across the show floor and a product portfolio including the alluring NOVOCASH X10 cash management kiosk on display. It was a good show for NGUK as their Managing Director explained.

Coinslot: How did the show go for you this year: did it meet your expectations?

Phil Burke: EAG was another valuable opportunity for us to showcase the breadth of what NOVOMATIC Gaming UK offers, with two exhibitions back-to-back, January is always a very busy and productive period for the team.

The quality of conversations we had on the stand were very encouraging, and we were especially proud of our stand presentation this year, with our stand design, graphics and new LED signage really standing out and drawing people in from across the hall.

Coinslot: Any key developments finalised at EAG – new agreements signed, new appointments, installations agreed etc?

Phil Burke: The show gave us a strong platform to progress several ongoing discussions and strengthen relationships with both existing and prospective customers.

In addition to the orders confirmed at the show, EAG is always a useful environment for sitting down face-to-face and exploring future opportunities and we came away with several promising leads and projects to develop further over the coming months.

Coinslott: What were the stand highlights – which products caught the attention and what was reaction to your portfolio of products?

Phil Burke: Our stand itself became a real talking point this year, particularly the new LED signage, which was visible from across the hall and which generated a lot of positive comments from visitors.

The overall reaction to our portfolio was extremely encouraging, with strong interest across both our casino and arcade offerings, especially our signage and NOVOCASH X10 cash management kiosk.

Being able to demonstrate everything from feature-rich game cabinets through to our state-of-the-art signage solutions really reinforced the message that NGUK delivers a complete package for gaming floors, something that clearly resonated with attendees.

Coinslot: It’s going to be a defining year for the business –  new legislation and new regulation. How did you gauge the general mood of the industry and what were the main talking points?

Phil Burke: There was a lot of discussion around the changing regulatory landscape, as you would expect, but the general mood felt optimistic, pragmatic and forward-thinking.

Operators and suppliers alike are focused on adapting and investing in products that enhance the player experience while meeting evolving requirements. For us, it highlighted the importance of innovation and flexibility, from cabinet design to signage and game content, areas where NOVOMATIC Gaming UK continues to invest heavily.

Coinslot: Now the show is over, what’s on your agenda going into spring in terms of new products, new projects and more exhibitions?

Phil Burke: Following two major shows back-to-back at EAG and ICE, our focus now turns to building on the momentum generated there.

We’ll be progressing new projects, continuing conversations started on the stands and preparing further product developments that support venues looking to refresh and elevate their gaming floors.

It’s shaping up to be a busy spring, and we’re looking forward to getting back out to meet customers again, whether that be at individual operator meetings or upcoming events such as at the ARE Expo in April.
