Nicole Garrett has been announced as the new CEO of the Bingo Association, the National Bingo Game Association and Meeron ahead of the departure of Miles Baron in June, with Garrett set to bring “a strong strategic perspective and a proven track record in navigating regulatory and social responsibility challenges” to the role.

The Bingo Association, the National Bingo Game Association and Meeron have announced the appointment of Nicole Garrett as their new CEO, following confirmation that current chief executive Miles Baron will step down at the end of June.

Garrett is currently serving as group head of responsible gaming at National Lottery operator Allwyn, and has previously held positions as head of corporate affairs at bet365 and head of policy at the Betting and Gaming Council.

“I am thrilled to be joining the Bingo Association, the National Bingo Game Association and Meeron at such an important time for the bingo industry,” said Garrett. “Bingo plays a unique and valued role within local communities, and I am very much looking forward to working closely with members and stakeholders to support the sector and help shape its future.”

Garrett will officially take up her new position in spring, bringing to the role a strong strategic perspective and a proven track record in navigating regulatory and social responsibility challenges, as well as extensive experience across policy development, regulatory reform, and stakeholder engagement within the wider gambling sector.
