NQ64, a chain of retro gaming arcades, is giving away free tokens across its 12 UK venues this summer. The arcades are located in major cities including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Newcastle, and Nottingham.
Each venue features a wide selection of classic arcade machines such as Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Space Invaders, Crazy Taxi, and a range of pinball machines.
Normally, games require tokens, which cost £10 for 20, or £12 in London. For a limited time, NQ64 is offering 20 tokens for free to anyone who completes a short four-minute survey designed for students. Vouchers are sent within 24 hours of completion.
In addition to arcade machines, venues also offer retro consoles like the PlayStation 2 and original Xbox. These do not require tokens and can be played for free once guests have used their token allowance.
NQ64 venues are over-18s only, but a special monthly event allows families to visit. On the last Sunday of each month, under-18s can enter between 11am and 3pm if accompanied by an adult. Upcoming family-friendly days are scheduled for 31 August and 28 September.
