A new nightclub opening this month in Nuneaton has been granted a licence for an “arcade quarter,” offering guests the opportunity to play classic video games while on a night out.
Labyrinth is due to open in the unit formerly occupied by Fever, on Newdegate Street, as part of a £750,000 investment by owner Epic Bars and Clubs.
“Among the changes to the former Fever nightclub include one of the former rooms, Kikui, being removed completely,” reported Coventry Live. “That is according to a licensing application made to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council.”
“A new bar will be formed on the far left wall of the main room in place of the existing DJ, which will move directly opposite abutting the dance floor. The existing central area will be divided to create a gaming area and a new bar formed in the recess.”
Labyrinth will also feature three zones alongside Arcade; Main Arena, Dirty Disco and The Terrace.
On the nightclub’s social media, a “sneak peak” revealed that the Main Arena will be the “ultimate clubroom,” featuring “beams of light, lasers and a state of the art sound system.”
Labyrinth will open with an official launch party on 28 March, and will subsequently open on Friday and Saturday nights.
