Parkdean Resorts has announced plans to invest £50m in improving leisure and entertainment facilities across its 65-park estate next year, with two landmark transformations scheduled for Highfield Grange in Essex and Vauxhall in Great Yarmouth.
The two parks will each benefit from an injection of £5m, creating brand new attractions such as Bear Grylls escape rooms, mini golf, rope courses, and indoor Tots Zones, as well as a new sports bar and competitive socialising concept Hat-Tricks.
“In 2026 we will be investing approximately £50m in our holiday parks to improve facilities, elevate guest experience, and keep families coming back to these fantastic locations,” said CEO Steve Richards. “As the UK’s leading holiday park operator, guests return to us year after year because they trust us to deliver the quality and consistency they expect.”
“Next year guests will see Highfield Grange and Vauxhall transformed with major investments to upgrade and diversify the on-park activities. Ongoing investment within the communities we operate in is also a key part of our strategy, and we are committed to raising standards to remain at the forefront of the UK holiday market.”
The new facilities at Highfield and Vauxhall are expected to be completed by spring next year, and once open will create 100 full-time and part-time jobs.
