Llandudno Pier has officially reopened the Pier View Wheel for the summer season, after the 70ft attraction returned to the north Wales resort town after a winter stint in Sheffield.

Designed and manufactured by Lamborghini Rides, the wheel has proved a popular draw for visitors over the past half a decade, offering “amazing views” of the surrounding area.

“We are thrilled to welcome back the Pier View Wheel for another exciting and busy season ahead,” said pier GM Paul Williams. “Now in its sixth season, the Wheel draws in visitors from far and wide to experience this unique ride, with amazing views of the Pier and Bay. It is a true landmark of the Llandudno shoreline.”

Featuring 18 gondolas capable of carrying six people each, the Pier View Wheel has become a central feature in the pier’s amusement offering. 

“A huge thank you to Adam Williams and his team for getting the Wheel in place once again, ready for the half term,” added Williams.
